Solar panels are an excellent source of consistent, renewable energy. However, one of the biggest issues is the amount of maintenance required to ensure clean panels. They require a high level of maintenance and upkeep to ensure the surface of the panels are clean, allowing for maximum absorption of the sunlight.

SPC19FR is an easy-to-apply coating that will keep the panel surface clean and working efficiently. It improves the output for solar panels, the hotter the temperature, the greater the electricity output (DC voltage), compared to a non coated panel. At the same time, preventing dust and dirt accumulation, making it easier to clean, and reducing maintenance costs.

There has been a general increase in the output of Solar Panels with SPC19FR as shown in the data above. The coating has a wide range of working temperatures from -20 ⁰C to 230 ⁰C , making it suitable for use in any weather in any country, no matter if it is freezing cold or blazing hot.

Prevents Dust and Dirt Accumulation

As solar panels are often placed above rooftops and with no protection from the elements, they are constantly exposed to wind and weather such as rain that can bring dust and debris, depositing them on the panel surface.

The build-up may have negligible effects at the start but will soon accumulate and block out sunlight, reducing the solar panel’s efficiency. This would then require them to be cleaned up, taking up significant amount of time and money.

To reduce the frequency of clean-up, Solar panels should have proper protection on the panel surfaces. We have designed an easy-to-apply coating that is able to prevent the accumulation of dust and debris, making cleaning easier as well.

SPC19FR is an invisible, hydrophobic and oleophobic coat over the surface of the solar panel to prevent dust and dirt accumulation. As water beads up and roll off the surface, it carries dust and dirt along the way, essentially making the panels self-cleaning. This reduces the frequency of cleaning needed for the panels, reducing maintenance costs.
